The Secondary School opened its doors in 1991, headed by Ms. Marisela Heredia Escobar, M.A. in Education. Its first generation graduated in August 1994 with a total of thirty-six students.
It was in September of the same year when the Preparatory School was founded in Colegio Americano de Tabasco also headed by Ms. Marisela Heredia Escobar. The first preparatory generation, formed by thirty-two students, graduated in 1997.
Twenty generations in Secondary School and seventeen generations in Preparatory School have graduated up to this day.
